A stable aisle at first light, tack hanging outside the boxes and a horse in the yard beyond

Made for the yard, not the shelf.

A short equine grooming range, built so a horse can be washed as often as the work demands and still look like it was looked after.

The range

Two products. Wash, then finish.

Santos Equine Shampoo on a stone wall in a stable yard

Shampoo — Oat & Sunflower Extracts

£17.37 · 1 litre

Santos Equine Detangler and Finisher on a stone wall in a stable yard

Detangler & Finisher — Mane and Tail

Keratin, avocado and sweet almond. The comb passes without pulling, and it dries without an oily finish.

£13.80 · 500ml

Close detail of a horse's mane

Earned in the saddle. Trusted in the yard.

Santos Equine Shampoo and Detangler & Finisher together on a tack trunk

How they work together

The shampoo does the cleaning. The detangler does the mane and the tail, and leaves the coat ready to be seen. Used together they take a horse from mud to presentable in the time a yard actually has.

Neither is a show-day product kept in a cupboard. Both are built for the number of times a working horse gets washed in a week.

Who makes it

Gabriel Santos has spent over fifteen years training horses at every level, from young animals finding their feet to high-performance polo athletes on the British circuit. The range came out of that yard, not out of a marketing meeting.
